Strands of iridescent, shiny "hair" and dark brown batting felt nicely into the legs and the beak...
I wrap the felt tightly over the plain batting already felted onto the legs, placing the shiny hairs over the surface...and begin felting..
A close up of the first foot...it's really magical looking. The photo doesn't do this justice at all...
The first leg finished...
Now both legs and beak are formed.
A closer look at his beak...I think he's getting to be a handsome fella. What do you think?
